The film "Truong Sa - Ben bo trong nhau" is a special musical film praising the navy soldiers at the forefront. The film is about a navy soldier with a family tradition of 4 generations of navy soldiers.
The film shows the love and pride of soldiers when wearing military uniforms to protect the territorial waters of the Fatherland.
The story in the film is told simply and sincerely, interspersed with songs about soldiers sung by Meritorious Artist Khanh Hoa .
Speaking at the film premiere, Rear Admiral Pham Van Luyen, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Navy, said: “The musical film “Truong Sa - Ben bo trong nhau” is a spiritual and cultural product with profound humanistic values about love for the country, love for the sea and islands of the homeland.
The film is strung together according to the musical melody structure with the content of 8 songs into a story about generations in a family of Navy soldiers, continuing the tradition of protecting the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
To contribute to the success of the film, the Party Committee - Head of the Navy Command has closely and comprehensively led and directed the subordinate units to do a good job of preparation and closely coordinate with the film crew.
The film crew used many means and military technical equipment such as warships, transport ships, cargo ships, airplanes, cars; mobilized more than 1,000 people to participate in filming, from main roles to extras... ensuring care, efficiency, preserving military secrets, security and absolute safety.
Journalist Tran Hong Ha - Deputy of the Arts Department, who directly directed and accompanied the project, said that the musical film "Truong Sa - Ben bo trong nhau" is considered the largest-scale project of the Arts Department up to this point.
According to director Phu Tran, when receiving a literary script, the first impression and difficult problem he needed to solve was the challenge of 3 genres: musical film, feature film and documentary with realistic elements.
Preparation for the film took half a year with many difficulties as the plan had to be meticulously calculated, detailed and precise in order to be successfully implemented.
For actor Tien Loc, playing the role of a navy soldier in the movie "Truong Sa - Ben bo trong nhau" left a lot of emotions and memorable memories.
"An interesting memory for me is that when we first met, the navy soldiers kept calling me "Uncle Tien Loc". I asked "why do you call me uncle", because I thought I was so old, they said: "You are the same age as my mother, I have watched the movies you acted in for a long time". It turns out that many soldiers were born in 2000 and later, still young, but the sun and wind on the sea and islands made them more mature, steady, and dignified", the actor recounted.
The musical film "Truong Sa - Ben bo trong nhau" will air at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, August 4 on VTV1.
The beautiful melody, impressive images, and touching story of "Truong Sa - Ben bo trong nhau" convey a meaningful message on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the first victory of the Vietnam People's Navy and the people and army of the North, and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.
