ĐNO – On August 2, Tien Sa Port Border Guard Station (Da Nang Port Border Guard, Da Nang Border Guard Command) announced that it had just received 4 fishermen from fishing boat ND 93319TS in distress at sea.

Previously, when the Hai Duong 99 ship was on its journey from Hai Phong port to Da Nang city, while passing through Thanh Hoa waters, it discovered 4 crew members in distress drifting at sea.

Immediately, the captain approached the ship and rescued the 4 crew members, and performed first aid. It is known that the 4 crew members include: Pham Van Chuyen (1976), Pham Van Nguyen (1978), Nguyen Van The (1979), Tran Van Hung (1984), hometowns in Quy Nhat commune, Ninh Binh province. After that, the Hai Duong 99 ship docked at X-50 Da Nang port, at this time the Tien Sa port border station sent officers and military doctors on board to visit, encourage and examine the health of the 4 crew members.

At the same time, quickly grasp the information and contact and notify the families of the 4 crew members. Through investigation, all 4 crew members after the accident had been drifting at sea for about 23 hours (from 8:30 am on July 30, 2025 to 6:30 am on July 31, 2025). After the fishing boat ND 93319TS had an accident and sank into the sea, the 4 crew members quickly clung to a basket boat and continued to drift at sea until the Hai Duong 99 ship approached and rescued them.

Mr. Bui Van Son (1979), captain of the Hai Duong 99 ship, said: "At 6:30 a.m., he discovered a basket boat with 4 people on board calling for help. He immediately directed the ship to approach and bring the 4 injured crew members onto the ship. After that, the Hai Duong 99 ship provided the 4 crew members with food, checked their health, and brought the ship back to Da Nang as planned."

Lieutenant Colonel Vo Dinh Quoc, Deputy Commander of the Da Nang Port Border Guard Command, shared: "Immediately after receiving the news, the unit deployed officers and soldiers to receive and bring the crew members to the Tien Sa Port Border Guard Station. At the same time, the local authorities and families were notified to visit, encourage, and support the crew members to return home."

Upon receiving the information, in the afternoon, the leaders of Son Tra ward led by comrade Dinh Vui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tra ward visited, gave gifts and encouraged the fishermen.
