Speaking at the program, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council shared that the program has become an annual traditional activity of Ho Chi Minh City for city leaders to meet and listen to the opinions, thoughts and feelings of children. This is the motivation for city leaders to issue programs and policies to better care for children in the city.
The Chairman of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized that over the years, from the opinions of children, many proposals and ideas have been realized, many small problems have been promptly resolved, creating conditions and an environment for children to study, live better and happier.

Attending this year's program were 150 outstanding young delegates who tried very hard, helped each other, made efforts in studying, practicing in the Team movement and continued to achieve many good results, being good children, good students, good friends, good grandchildren of Uncle Ho...
Comrade Nguyen Thi Le praised the city's children for their efforts in studying and training to become role models in overcoming difficulties, studying well, practicing hard, and becoming young talents and athletes in international and regional arenas.

The Chairman of the HCMC People’s Council affirmed that children’s opinions are perspectives that help city leaders better understand the needs and desires of young citizens - a large force that contributes to shaping the future of the city. From there, city leaders will have many policies and solutions to take better care of children, so that each child in the city is truly cared for, loved and happy.
The Chairman of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City hopes that children will continue to raise their opinions so that children in the city in particular and citizens in general will have development in health, stature, qualities, intelligence, talent, how to access and use social services, and what science and technology will be applied to further improve the quality of life.
At the program, Doan Phuc Duyen (Tan Binh district) proposed implementing a "Smart Health Corridor" in schools, where sensors and interactive screens are integrated to monitor and encourage students' physical activity.
For example, as students walk down the hallway, the system will record their steps and heart rate and provide immediate feedback on their activity levels. This data will be aggregated so that teachers and parents can monitor and tailor fitness programs for each student; for parents to monitor their children's exercise habits.

Pham Gia Han (District 6) said that the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application is very interesting with attractive features, especially the 360 map feature. Gia Han hopes to be able to integrate more information and explanations about historical sites and red addresses in the city so that children can learn and experience online on a digital platform and proactively learn if they do not have the opportunity to participate in reality.
In addition, Gia Han proposed that the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application should have a feature called “Love Station” so that each citizen and child can propose ideas and record information about homeless children in the city. Thereby, timely help can be provided, spreading the spirit of love and mutual assistance…
Concerned about mental health, Duong Chi Lam (District 6) shared that some students often encounter problems such as pressure from studying, family... leading to stress, withdrawing from people around them. They do not want or cannot discuss this issue directly with friends, teachers, relatives. Chi Lam wants to build a smart psychological counseling application on the phone, with high security so that students can share problems, receive answers...

Aiming to equip new-age knowledge, Cap Hoang Dung (District 5) proposed to regularly organize training sessions on artificial intelligence (AI) and how to apply this technology in life, work, and study. These training sessions will help children have a better understanding of the potential and applications of artificial intelligence. From there, they will know how to exploit these tools more effectively. This also helps improve research and learning skills, expand creativity and apply practical technology.
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy accepted the opinions of the children. At the same time, she requested the leaders of the departments to take note, prepare, and propose focused work in the coming time to resolve the limitations, and immediately apply them to the children's learning practices. In particular, the Department of Education and Training is interested in creating a source of teachers in school psychology, building happy schools, and advancededucational methods.
The Department of Science and Technology continues to equip teachers and students with skills in using the internet and applying technology. At the same time, the City Youth Union coordinates with the City Youth Union to organize an effective digital literacy program, helping children deal with problems encountered when using the internet. The Department of Culture and Sports is interested in cultural and artistic programs, promoting cultural institutions for children. Building many cultural and artistic programs to serve children, helping them access more cultural and social activities.

In her concluding remarks, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Thi Le requested the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to pay more attention, more practically, to take care of and create all conditions for children to develop comprehensively in morality - intelligence - physique - aesthetics. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to physical health care, improve the stature of children. At the same time, pay more attention to mental health care to help children have a truly rich spiritual life. I hope that parents are both fathers, mothers and friends of children to understand, listen and share with children more.
He suggested that there should be closer coordination between all levels and sectors in nurturing and educating children to have good qualities, ethics, cultural behavior, and law-abidingness; to have intelligence and the ability to apply new achievements in science and technology, creating a safe and healthy living environment for children both in real life and in cyberspace. Prioritize resources and the most serious and focused investment in cultural, educational, and medical institutions serving children.


The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council suggested that the education and training sector and the health sector continue to coordinate with the Youth Union and Young Pioneers to do a better job of advising on policies and mechanisms, creating the best conditions for educating the new generation.
He emphasized that it is necessary to prioritize experience and practice combined with theory; to cultivate life skills, environmental protection awareness as well as how to behave with people around. The teaching method helps children develop their strengths and talents, build beautiful friendships at school, practice skills, self-discipline, and master self-defense methods in social situations.
