On the afternoon of November 8, comrade Bui Thi Thom, member of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Head of the Steering Committee of Emulation Cluster No. 2, worked with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Union. Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Giang, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.

In 2024, farmers' associations at all levels in the province will step up the dissemination, propaganda, and concretization of programs and plans to implement Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW dated December 20, 2023 of the Politburo on innovation and improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Association to meet the requirements and revolutionary tasks in the new period; Resolution of the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and resolutions of congresses of farmers' associations at all levels for the 2023-2028 term to cadres and members. In 2024, the provincial Farmers' Association achieved and exceeded 16/17 emulation targets assigned by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association. Activities to support farmers in terms of capital, transfer of science and technology, vocational training, and supply of agricultural materials continue to be focused on and promoted by farmers' associations at all levels. The provincial Farmers' Association has directed the establishment of the Thai Binh Provincial Excellent Farmers' Club with 34 members. The whole province has over 230,800 farming households registered to strive for excellent production and business households at all levels. Through evaluation, over 174,000 households achieved the title of excellent production and business households.

Leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association spoke at the conference. Officials of the Central Inspection Delegation of the Vietnam Farmers' Union contributed ideas on the work of building the association and the farmers' movement in Thai Binh.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Bui Thi Thom, Member of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Head of the Steering Committee of Emulation Cluster No. 2 and Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of farmers' unions at all levels in the past time. They requested that in the coming time, farmers' unions at all levels in the province continue to strive to fulfill the targets assigned by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; step up propaganda and mobilize members to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. Focus on innovating the content and methods of operation to attract members to participate in the organization. Pay attention to guiding the establishment of branches and professional farmer associations; step up propaganda and mobilize farmers to cooperate in production and develop collective economy. Promote emulation movements and coordinate the effective organization of service activities, consulting, and support for farmers in digital transformation, production linkage, etc. Along with that, support the promotion, connection, and consumption of products for farmers; continue to build chains of stores consuming agricultural products in the districts.

Previously, the inspection delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union visited typical economic models of members of the Farmers' Union of Trong Quan commune (Dong Hung).
