Special lessons at many schools in Hanoi this morning

Phuc Xa Secondary School invited lecturers from the Fire Prevention and Fighting University to train in fire prevention.

At Thu Le Primary School, to avoid the pain of fire, the school has disseminated to students the video "Skills for children to escape when encountering fire" made by Ba Dinh District police.

The spirit of mutual love and support is the lesson that students of many schools learned in this morning's special class.

Phuc Xa Secondary School also organized training on fire prevention and fighting with the participation of lecturers from the Fire Prevention and Fighting University to equip the most basic knowledge to prevent fires.

Teachers and students of Marie Curie School observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims in each classroom.

At Marie Curie School (Hanoi), from 7:55 today, the school principal asked everyone to stand in place, adjust their clothes to observe 1 minute of silence at exactly 8 o'clock for the victims of the recent particularly serious fire.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, 1 teacher and 29 students were victims of the fire in the mini apartment building in Khuong Ha, of which 13 students died. The Hanoi Department of Education has launched a campaign to provide material and spiritual support to the victims and their families.

Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, then directed the Thanh Xuan District Department of Education and Training and schools to review officials, teachers, staff and students related to this fire.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has assigned the industry union and directed the Thanh Xuan District Department of Education and Training and related units to visit and work with the families to arrange the funerals for the deceased students.

For students being treated in hospital and injured teachers, the Department and related units visited, encouraged and provided timely support. For students with minor injuries who may be psychologically affected, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also directed schools to assign teachers to support and tutor them.
