At approximately 1:00 PM on July 22, 2025, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ninh province received a report about the discovery of a male body floating in the area between Bai Chay beach and Dau Go cave.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force promptly dispatched specialized vehicles and officers to the scene, coordinating with the Hon Gai Port Border Guard Station to bring the victim's body ashore.
Verification has confirmed the identity of the victim as: Nguyen Viet Hung, born in 1979, one of the three victims still missing at sea in the Green Bay 58 tourist boat accident, QN 7105, which occurred on July 19, 2025.
Thus, as of now, out of the 49 people on board the Green Bay 58 vessel that met with an accident in Ha Long Bay on the afternoon of July 19th, authorities have rescued 10 people; 37 bodies have been found and handed over to their families, and 2 victims are still missing at sea.
