TKV completes the plan for the first 5 months of 2025

In May, the Group and its units simultaneously launched the Workers' Month - Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025, creating a vibrant labor emulation atmosphere among all workers and staff of the Group; thereby, the Group continues to maintain and maintain a high production pace.

Regarding coal production in May 2025, clean coal production reached 3.6 million tons, equal to 100% of the plan; the cumulative output in the first 5 months of 2025 is estimated at 17.7 million tons and equal to 105% over the same period. Raw coal production reached 3.38 million tons, equal to 103.8% of the plan; the cumulative output in the first 5 months is estimated at 17.65 million tons, equal to 102.8% over the same period. Imported coal is estimated at 1.55 million tons; the cumulative output in the first 5 months is estimated at 6.25 million tons, equal to 119% over the same period. Coal consumption reached 4.7 million tons; the cumulative output in the first 5 months is estimated at 22.24 million tons, equal to 101.6% over the same period, of which coal delivered to power plants in May is estimated at 4.1 million tons; the cumulative output in the first 5 months is estimated at 19.21 million tons.

Excavation of earth and rock in May is estimated at 14.4 million m3, equal to 100% of the plan; the accumulated volume in the first 5 months of the year is estimated at 69.1 million m3, equal to 102% over the same period. The total tunnel meter in May is estimated at 24.4 thousand meters, equal to 101% of the plan; the accumulated volume in the first 5 months of 2025 is estimated at 114.3 thousand meters, equal to 105% over the same period.

Mineral and chemical units continue to maintain production with high output. Alumina production in May is estimated at 131 thousand tons, equal to 102% of the plan, the accumulated output in the first 5 months of the year is estimated at 625 thousand tons, equal to 102% over the same period. In May, it is estimated that 137 thousand tons were consumed, equal to 114% of the plan, the accumulated output in the first 5 months is estimated at 590 thousand tons and equal to 100% over the same period. Copper concentrate production is estimated at 8.1 thousand tons; the first 5 months are estimated at 47.32 thousand tons. Copper plate production in May is estimated at 2.88 thousand tons, equal to 102% of the plan; the accumulated output in the first 5 months is estimated at 13.89 thousand tons, equal to 108% over the same period...

Electricity production in May is estimated at 1,006 million kWh. The cumulative output in the first 5 months of the year is estimated at 4.89 billion kWh, equal to 114% compared to the same period in 2024.

In May 2025, explosive production is estimated at 6.5 thousand tons, explosive supply is estimated at 9.5 thousand tons. Accumulated in the first 5 months of the year, estimated production is 35 thousand tons; estimated consumption is 48 thousand tons of explosives.

Production of 17 thousand tons of Ammonium Nitrate, equal to 100% of the plan, consumption is estimated at 14 thousand tons. Accumulated production in the first 5 months of the year is estimated at 81 thousand tons; consumption is estimated at 72 thousand tons...

Total revenue of the Group in May is estimated at 16.34 trillion VND, equal to 100.8% of the monthly plan. Cumulative revenue in the first 5 months of the year is estimated at 77.88 trillion VND. State budget contribution in May is estimated at 2.7 trillion VND; cumulative revenue in the first 5 months of the year is estimated at 12.3 trillion VND.

Accumulated in the first 5 months of 2025, the Group's main production and business indicators all grew compared to the same period in 2024: revenue increased by 4%, profit increased by 12%, and payment to the State budget increased by 7%.

Entering June 2025, it is expected that storms and rains will increase, which may affect the Group's production and business activities, especially coal and mineral mining units; heavy rain during the month will reduce coal demand for electricity production.

To successfully complete the production and business tasks in June and strive to achieve the growth target of over 8% in 2025 as directed by the Government ; TKV and its units will focus on implementing storm and flood prevention, continuing to maintain production pace, maximizing output; ensuring production, import, processing and blending, meeting coal needs for the market and coal for electricity production.

TKV implements the production and business plan for June and the first 6 months of 2025 with some key targets: Raw coal production of 3.12 million tons; cumulative output in the first 6 months is expected to reach 20.84 million tons. Clean coal production totals 3.42 million tons; cumulative output in the first 6 months is expected to reach 21.1 million tons. Coal consumption is expected to be 5.04 million tons, cumulative output in the first 6 months is expected to be 27.29 million tons. Excavating 23.92 thousand meters of tunnel; expected to reach 137.8 thousand meters in 6 months. Excavating 13 million m3 of earth and rock; expected to reach 83 million m3 in the first 6 months.

Expected production of 125 thousand tons of Alumina; accumulated output in the first 6 months of the year reached 750 thousand tons; consumption of 119 thousand tons, accumulated output in the first 6 months of the year is expected to reach 708 thousand tons... Production of copper concentrate reached 8.73 thousand tons; accumulated output in the first 6 months of the year was 56.04 thousand tons. Consumption of copper concentrate reached 3 thousand tons; consumption of 17 thousand tons in the first 6 months of the year...

The electricity production and consumption plan for June 2025 is 1.02 billion kWh; in the first 6 months of the year, it is expected to produce 5.91 billion kWh of electricity. At the same time, explosive production reached 6.4 thousand tons; the accumulated output in the first 6 months of the year reached 41.2 thousand tons. Supply of 9.2 thousand tons of explosives; in the first 6 months of the year, it is expected to supply 57.1 thousand tons.

The Group's consolidated revenue in June is expected to reach VND 16.69 trillion; Accumulated revenue in the first 6 months of 2025 is estimated to reach VND 94.57 trillion.

To complete the targets set in June and the second quarter of 2025, TKV will drastically boost production, focus on human resources and equipment to maximize coal mining output, strengthen strict management of technical and technological indicators, focus on implementing well the work of storm prevention, labor safety, environment, and ensuring safety in production.
