Organize a program to link construction and develop tourism products between Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa

From December 19-20, Ninh Binh Tourism Association coordinated with Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Thanh Hoa-Ninh Binh branch, Vietnam Airlines Thanh Hoa branch and Thanh Hoa Travel Association to organize a program to link up and develop tourism products between the two localities.

* During the program, a conference was held to implement the cooperation agreement between VCCI Thanh Hoa-Ninh Binh and Ninh Binh Tourism Association in 2024. The two sides informed about the support activities for tourism service businesses in Ninh Binh province in the past time and shared the advantages and challenges in current tourism development.

Accordingly, although Ninh Binh tourism has developed strongly, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, the current difficulty that the industry is facing is the low quality of human resources. According to statistics, tourist areas and spots in the province are creating jobs for about 10,000 direct workers, more than 30,000 indirect workers, mainly unskilled workers, with limited foreign language proficiency, communication skills, and situation handling skills.

In recent times, VCCI Thanh Hoa-Ninh Binh, with the function of representing the legal and legitimate interests of businesses and being a bridge between businesses and authorities at all levels, State management agencies, has actively supported issues related to law, human resource training, and corporate culture for Ninh Binh tourism businesses.

Since the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement with the Ninh Binh Provincial Tourism Association in early November 2023, VCCI Thanh Hoa-Ninh Binh has supported the organization of 3 training courses for about 150 people working in the tourism sector in Ninh Binh.

At the conference, the two sides pledged to regularly exchange information and closely coordinate to help overcome the difficulties that Ninh Binh tourism businesses are facing. Thereby, improving capacity and creating an open, favorable, fair and transparent operating environment for businesses.

* Next, Ninh Binh Province Tourism Association coordinated with Thanh Hoa Travel Association to survey and experience some tourism products in Thanh Hoa province including: Quang Thai Homestay (Quang Xuong district), Linh Ky Moc Eco-tourism Area (Thanh Hoa city), Vietnamese Cultural Space (Thanh Hoa city).

Quang Thai Homestay has the advantage of being close to the sea, large land area, open and harmonious space, bringing visitors experiences close to nature. Currently, the Homestay has 15 wooden houses, in the summer the room occupancy rate is always 100%. Meanwhile, Linh Ky Moc Eco-tourism Area attracts visitors with many interesting experiences such as: visiting the ceramic museum, admiring the 800-year-old Linh Ky Moc tree, experiencing mineral bath services, natural mineral mud, camping, ...

At the places visited, surveyed and experienced, members of the Ninh Binh Tourism Association exchanged information and shared development experiences with businesses, travel agencies and destinations of the provinces. On that basis, they built tours linked with Thanh Hoa, creating more unique products of each locality, suitable to the tastes of tourists.

Also in the program, the Association had a working session with Vietnam Airlines Thanh Hoa branch.

Through the program of linking and developing tourism products between Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa, it aims to create opportunities for travel agencies in Ninh Binh province to link and cooperate in building and developing tourism products between the two provinces of Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa. Thereby, promoting regional linkages and developing tourism more and more.
