Organizing the 2023 Hai Chau District Lion and Dragon Festival

On the evening of September 16 and 17, at APEC Sculpture Park, Hai Chau District People's Committee organized the first expanded Hai Chau district lion, unicorn and dragon festival in 2023. The activity aims to promote the unique cultural and sports traditions of the nation and meet the people's need for cultural and sports enjoyment, enhance understanding, exchange and solidarity between localities; promote and introduce lion, unicorn and dragon art, strengthen the organization of events to create cultural highlights in the Bach Dang festival axis; create a joyful and useful atmosphere, serving the entertainment needs of children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival. This festival attracted more than 10 teams, which are lion, unicorn and dragon troupes operating in the city.

On the evening of September 16, the teams competed in the terracotta category, and on the evening of September 17, they competed in the mai hoa thung category and awarded prizes. The prize structure is divided according to each competition category, including: mai hoa thung has 1 first prize (5 million VND), 1 second prize (4 million VND) and 1 third prize (3 million VND); terracotta has 1 first prize (3 million VND), 1 second prize (2 million VND), 1 third prize (1.5 million VND) and 2 consolation prizes (1 million VND).
