Decorate the walls

Students of Le Van Tam Primary School participate in mural painting activities.

On the old walls, colorful paintings are now created by the hands of teachers and students of Le Van Tam School and teachers and students of primary and secondary schools in Minh Xuan Ward. Images of the homeland, beautiful natural scenery or paintings of the sea are expressed through the innocent strokes and bright colors of teachers and students. Many paintings also convey messages about love for the homeland, awareness of environmental protection, and aspirations for a bright future.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Head of the Young Pioneers' Team, school Le Van Tam Primary School said: “Participating in the mural painting activity not only creates a friendly and close learning space for students, but is also an opportunity for students to express their love for their homeland and country. This is also a practical activity of teachers and students of the school towards welcoming the Provincial Party Congress”.

The mural completed by teachers and students of Le Van Tam Primary School contributes to beautifying the street.

With the skillful hands and creativity of the teacher and students, after 2 days of work, the wall of more than 55m was decorated with fresh colors. Teacher Hoang Thi Anh Nguyet, Fine Arts teacher, Le Van Tam Primary School said: "We completed the work in 2 days. To have colorful works like this, we sketched and selected suitable colors, selected good color materials to ensure the durability of outdoor murals. When starting to work, we divided the work into sections for each member, shared ideas with each other so that the completed painting would have harmonious color tones."

Not only promoting and educating students to raise awareness of environmental protection and love for their homeland, mural painting activities also create opportunities for students to develop their creativity, express their ideas, talents and thoughts about paintings. Nguyen Tran Bao Anh, class 5A1 said: "This is the first time I have participated in mural painting activities. I feel very happy and proud because the painting was made by my own hands. When participating in painting, I learned how to work in groups, I find this activity very meaningful."

Vuong Thai Son, a student of class 4A1, shared: “Each painting is a message we want to send to everyone. I believe that our paintings not only contribute to beautifying the landscape, but also remind everyone to keep the streets green, clean and beautiful.”

With its vibrant colors and meaningful messages, the mural painting activity has a profound educational significance, fostering in students a sense of pride and love for their homeland. The activity also aims to arouse the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the young generation in building and developing their homeland; promoting awareness of environmental protection and preserving the street landscape. The works also have a practical meaning in welcoming the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
