The Russian Foreign Ministry on March 20 accused Ukraine of violating a US-proposed ceasefire over energy sites in the more than three-year conflict by attacking a Russian oil depot.
"We believe that the Kyiv regime has broken the ceasefire proposed by the US president," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told state television Channel One, according to Reuters.
“Now the question is how Washington will deal with those guys,” Ms. Zakharova said.

Authorities in the Krasnodar region have accused a Ukrainian drone attack of causing a fire at an oil depot near the village of Kavkazskaya. The depot is a railway station that supplies oil to a pipeline connecting Kazakhstan to the Black Sea, according to Reuters. A statement issued by Krasnodar authorities late on March 20 said efforts were being made to bring the fire under control.
In previous comments, Ms. Zakharova described the attack on the oil depot as a "provocation" and an attempt by Ukraine to disrupt peace initiatives.
There is no information yet on Kyiv's reaction.

Ukrainian officials also accused Russia on March 20 of failing to live up to its commitments by attacking civilian targets. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on March 19 that Russia's attacks on infrastructure, including hospitals and railway equipment, showed that "Putin's words are very different from reality."
Earlier, the Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin had agreed in a phone call with US President Donald Trump on March 18 to a 30-day ceasefire on energy targets. In a phone call with President Trump on March 19, Mr. Zelensky said Ukraine also agreed to the US proposal.
After the call between Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin on March 18, Russia said it had agreed to stop attacks on “energy infrastructure,” while the White House said it had agreed to an “energy and infrastructure ceasefire.” The US wording led to an interpretation that the ceasefire would include energy infrastructure and other infrastructure such as bridges and roads.
When asked about this, Ms. Zakharova emphasized on March 20 that although the countries' statements were not completely identical, the important thing was that there were no contradictions.
