Shining Uncle Ho's Good Children nationwide

At the 10th National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in 2025, the name Le Nguyen Chuong, class 9A of Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School (Tuy Hoa City) was twice named with the Kim Dong Award and was the most outstanding representative of Phu Yen province to be commended by the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union. To achieve this admirable achievement, the Team Leader of Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School has made great efforts. In the team work and children's movement, Chuong is always active, enthusiastic, and has many remarkable contributions. He is a member of the Children's National Assembly at the first mock session of the "Children's National Assembly" in 2023 in Hanoi ; won first prize in the storytelling contest to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, third prize in the contest of Excellent Team Commander - Excellent Star Leader of the province in the 2022-2023 school year and second prize in the contest of Youth with Traffic Culture of Phu Yen province in 2022. He represented Phu Yen children to give a speech at the program of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee meeting with the delegates of Uncle Ho's outstanding children of Phu Yen province for the period 2020-2025.

Not only actively participating and achieving many high achievements in team work, Chuong is also an excellent student in studying. Being obedient, studious, and inquisitive, he has achieved many outstanding achievements, such as: first prize in Mathematics in the provincial-level excellent secondary school student competition for the 2024-2025 school year; silver prize in the provincial-level VioEdu Math Arena playground for the 2023-2024 school year; third prize in the Science and Technology Competition for high school students at the city level; winning first prize in swimming at the city and provincial levels for many consecutive years, participating in the National High School Sports Competition in 2023 and the National Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2024, Region III. Chuong is an excellent student of the whole school in the 2023-2024 school year.

7 years of wearing the red scarf, becoming a team member, contributing to the common cause of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team is a meaningful time for me. I will try to study and practice, improve both knowledge and qualities to be worthy of being "Uncle Ho's young generation" in the future.

Le Nguyen Chuong, Team Leader of Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School

Along with Chuong, Phan Thanh Truc, class 8A, Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School (Tay Hoa district) is 2 of 44 outstanding children nationwide to receive the Kim Dong Award at the congress. Born and raised in the difficult land of Son Thanh Dong, Truc has strived to achieve many great achievements. Although studying in grade 8, the Team Leader of Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School participated in the class-skipping competition, won first prize at the district level and second prize at the provincial level in the 9th grade Literature Competition for the 2024-2025 school year. She won first prize in Group A of the Phu Yen Province Youth Informatics Competition and was selected to participate in the Central Region Youth Informatics Competition in Da Nang City in 2022. For many consecutive years, Truc has achieved the title of the most comprehensive excellent student in the block.

Along with studying, Truc is also very outstanding in the work of the Young Pioneers. She is a young National Assembly member at the first mock session of the "Children's National Assembly" in 2023; won first prize in the contest "Children telling stories according to books in Phu Yen province in 2024"; was awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial Young Pioneers Council for her outstanding achievements in implementing the movement "Phu Yen children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" in the period of 2020-2025.

Unforgettable memories

Although the 10th National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in 2025 in Hanoi ended a week ago, the emotions of Phu Yen children attending the congress are still full of emotion and pride. Ho Nguyen Bao Chau, class 8A1, Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School (Son Hoa District) shared: “I and the delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children were able to participate in many useful activities such as: experiencing the space for science and technology innovation, digital transformation at leading corporations in Vietnam; visiting the Vietnam Military History Museum; attending the program of the Central Youth Union Secretariat meeting and interacting with delegates attending the National Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress... In particular, we visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; visited the stilt house, Uncle Ho's workplace, Uncle Ho's fish pond, Ho Chi Minh Museum... We heard simple stories about Uncle Ho and all sang the melody "Who loves children as much as Uncle Ho Chi Minh/ Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh more than children".

Nguyen Le Bao Han, class 9C, Nguyen Hao Su Secondary School (Dong Xuan District), confided: “I and the Phu Yen children's delegates attending the congress in Hanoi were very moved when the leaders of the provincial National Assembly delegation visited and encouraged us. Although they were busy attending the 9th Session, the provincial National Assembly delegates still arranged time to visit, give gifts, and encourage the children to actively participate in the activities of the congress. The days attending the National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children will be unforgettable memories in our lives; motivating us to strive to achieve many high achievements in studying and training."
