The STEM Robotics competition ROBOTACON World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2025, organized by Viet Tinh Anh Joint Stock Company (LEGO Education) in collaboration with the Danish Embassy, attracted 411 teams comprising 1,235 contestants from 278 primary, secondary, and high schools nationwide. Contestants were divided into categories based on age, with events including: Global Robotics Games, RoboMission, Future Innovators, and Robot Tennis.
Following two regional qualifying rounds in the northern and central-southern regions, 30% of the contestants advanced to the national finals on August 6th in Ho Chi Minh City. The results selected 34 teams comprising 68 contestants to represent Vietnam at the WRO & Global Robotics Games (GRG) world finals in Singapore this November.

The competition not only challenges programming and engineering skills, but also encourages students to develop robotic solutions for the community – innovative, equitable and sustainable.
“Investing in education is the most valuable and long-term investment, it is also an investment in the future of the country. Robotacon WRO is not just a competition, it is a place to inspire students to think creatively and solve problems,” said Mr. Lasse Pedersen Hjortshøj, Charge d'Affaires of the Danish Embassy in Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri, Marketing Director of Vinamilk - a partner of the competition, expressed his confidence and hope that the contestants in particular, as well as Vietnamese students in general, will always nurture the spirit of "boldness," "determination," and "always being themselves" in their creative learning journey, to continuously create successes not only for themselves but also to help the community and make life better.
