The STEM Robotics ROBOTACON World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2025 competition, organized by Viet Tinh Anh Joint Stock Company (LEGO Education) in collaboration with the Embassy of Denmark, attracted 411 teams including 1,235 contestants from 278 primary, secondary and high schools nationwide. Contestants were divided into groups based on their age with the following contents: Global Robotics Games, RoboMission, Future Innovators and Robot Tennis.
After 2 regional qualifying rounds in the North and Central-South regions, 30% of the contestants entered the national final round on August 6 in Ho Chi Minh City. The results selected 34 teams of 68 contestants to represent Vietnam to participate in the WRO & Global Robotics Games (GRG) world finals in Singapore this November.

The competition not only challenges programming and engineering skills, but also encourages students to develop robotic solutions for the community – innovative, equitable and sustainable.
“Investing in education is the most valuable and long-term investment, it is also an investment in the future of the country. Robotacon WRO is not just a competition, it is a place to inspire students to think creatively and solve problems," said Mr. Lasse Pedersen Hjortshøj, Charge d'Affaires of the Danish Embassy in Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri, Marketing Executive Director of Vinamilk - the unit accompanying the contest, expressed his belief and hope that the contestants in particular and Vietnamese students in general will always nurture the spirit of "boldness", "determination", "always being yourself" in the journey of creative learning, to continuously create success not only for themselves but also to help the community and life become better.
