- On the morning of December 10th, the Provincial Cooperative Union held its 15th expanded meeting of the Provincial Cooperative Union Executive Committee to summarize the work of 2025 and outline the direction and tasks for 2026.

According to the report presented at the conference, in 2025, the situation of collective economic organizations and cooperatives in the province received attention and guidance, resulting in positive changes. According to statistics, there are currently 350 cooperative groups with 3,850 members in the province.
Regarding cooperatives, in 2025, the province aims to establish 64 new cooperatives. To date, the province has a total of 559 registered cooperatives, with agriculture accounting for 70% and non-agricultural sectors the remainder. Currently, there are 3 registered cooperative federations operating in the province, with 1 cooperative maintaining its operations.

Cooperative unions, cooperatives, and cooperative groups in the province are small in scale and face many difficulties in their production and business activities. The average revenue of cooperatives ranges from 500 million VND to over 1 billion VND per cooperative per year; the average income of members and workers is from 3.5 to 7 million VND per person per month.

Regarding the activities of the Provincial Cooperative Union, in 2025, the Provincial Cooperative Union will continue to effectively perform its assigned functions and tasks. This includes coordinating the organization of 19 conferences to disseminate information on the collective economy with 1,500 participants; organizing 3 training courses on management, operation, and application of information technology in cooperatives; supporting cooperatives in promoting and introducing their products; assisting 102 members of 31 cooperatives in borrowing capital from the Provincial Cooperative Development Support Fund; and organizing meetings and dialogues with cooperatives to gather information and resolve difficulties and obstacles.

In 2026, the Provincial Cooperative Union, along with relevant agencies, will continue to promote propaganda, training, and support for cooperative development. This includes striving to establish at least 50 new cooperatives; organizing 15 propaganda conferences and 2 training courses on collective economic development; and strengthening activities to support trade promotion and loan access.

At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Cooperative Union, along with representatives from various departments, agencies, and cooperatives, discussed, evaluated, and further clarified the achievements in the development of the collective economy in 2025. They also proposed solutions to overcome difficulties and improve the efficiency of the collective economy, such as: strengthening support for trade promotion activities; providing preferential loan support; and training to improve the management and operation skills of cooperatives... all aimed at successfully achieving the targets and tasks for the development of the collective economy and cooperatives in the province in 2026.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Provincial Cooperative Union presented membership certificates to several cooperatives in the province; and awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building and developing cooperatives in 2025.
