On the London exchange, robusta coffee prices, except for the January 2026 contract, all increased. While the January 2026 robusta contract fell slightly by $7/ton to $4,221/ton, the March 2026 contract continued to rise by $29/ton (+0.71%) to $4,138/ton. Prices for other futures contracts also increased.
On the New York exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 6.6 US cents/pound (+1.67%) to 400.8 US cents/pound, while the price for March 2026 delivery increased 3.55 US cents/pound (+0.96%) to 372.3 US cents/pound and the May 2026 contract rose 3.8 US cents/pound (+1.08%) to 355.2 US cents/pound.
According to Barchart , arabica coffee prices were supported by news indicating a decline in Brazilian coffee exports.
According to data from the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafe), Brazil's green coffee exports in November fell 27% year-on-year to 3.3 million bags (60kg each). Of this, arabica exports decreased by 18.3% to 3.03 million bags, while robusta exports – commonly used in instant coffee and espresso – fell 68% last month to approximately 259,323 bags.
Meanwhile, robusta prices remain under pressure due to concerns about abundant supply. According to data from the Vietnam General Statistics Office, coffee exports in November increased by 39% year-on-year to 88,000 tons; exports for the first 11 months increased by 14.8% to 1.398 million tons.
On Monday, arabica prices fell to a two-week low, while robusta prices dropped to a more than two-month low amid prospects of large supply. Last week, crop forecasting agency Conab raised its estimate for Brazil's 2025 coffee crop by 2.4%, to 56.54 million bags, compared with the 55.20 million bags projected in September.
Below-average rainfall in Brazil continues to support coffee prices. Somar Meteorologia reported that in the week ending December 5th, Minas Gerais state – the country's largest arabica-growing region – received only 11 mm of rain, equivalent to 17% of the historical average.
