
Attending the conference were leaders from the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Department of Internal Affairs, and members of the Standing Committee and the Provisional Executive Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union.
At the conference, delegates heard a presentation of the draft report on the operation of the system and the situation of the collective economy and cooperatives in 2025. Accordingly, the province currently has 1,455 cooperatives and people's credit funds.
To date, 80% of agricultural cooperatives in the province have achieved a "good" rating or higher, with an average revenue of approximately 1,250 million VND per cooperative per year. The Provincial Cooperative Union has effectively utilized development support funds, collaborated with relevant agencies to participate in training courses to improve the professional skills of its staff, and coordinated with functional agencies to protect the legitimate rights and interests of its members.
264 new members were admitted; 136 cooperatives were supported in participating in trade fairs inside and outside the province; support was provided to the operation model of new-style cooperatives with 51 cooperatives operating in value chain linkages; over 4.9 billion VND was disbursed from the National Employment Fund for 70 projects; and over 68 billion VND was disbursed from the Cooperative Development Support Fund for 151 projects.
The collective economy in the province has developed in quantity, improved in quality, and operates effectively. Cooperative managers have enhanced their skills, meeting the requirements of production and business activities in the new situation.
Also at the conference, the Provisional Executive Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union focused on assessing the impact of new policies on the province's collective economic sector and some specific goals for 2030.
The conference also heard and commented on draft documents for the first Provincial Cooperative Union Congress, term 2025-2030, including: the draft Political Report of the Executive Committee, the draft Charter of the Provincial Cooperative Union, the personnel plan for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee, and the plan for allocating delegates to the Congress…
At the conference, the Provisional Executive Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union voted to approve the resolutions of the Executive Committee meeting. This is an important basis for the Provincial Cooperative Union to implement its tasks in the coming period, especially the preparation for the First Congress, term 2025-2030, scheduled to be held over two days (December 24-25, 2025).
