On December 11th, in Kim Dong commune, the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to announce the decision and award the Certificate of Registration for the "Kim Son Ninh Binh Mangrove Honey" certification trademark.

Representatives of the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune granted the right to use the trademark registration certificate and the Industrial Design Patent for the label and packaging of the "Kim Son - Ninh Binh Mangrove Honey" product to 3 representative units producing and trading the product.

The conference was attended by representatives from the Department of Science and Technology, the Center for Technology Research and Intellectual Property CIPTEK ( Ministry of Science and Technology ); representatives from the Party Committee and People's Committee of Kim Dong commune; Kim Son Sea Mangrove Honey Production and Consumption Cooperative ; Kim Son Sea Mangrove Honey Trading Joint Stock Company; 27/7 Beekeeping Cooperative ; and organizations and individuals involved in the production and business of sea mangrove honey products in Kim Dong commune.

The coastal area of ​​Kim Son is famous for its vast mangrove forests, creating an abundant source of natural flowering plants. This is a unique "honey granary" that not every locality possesses. However, for many years, Kim Son honey has mainly been produced on a small scale, lacking identification codes, transparent information, and competitiveness with similar products on the market.

In 2023, the Department of Science and Technology supported the establishment, management, and development of the certification mark "Kim Son Ninh Binh Mangrove Honey". After nearly three years of implementation, on December 9, 2025, the Intellectual Property Office - Ministry of Science and Technology granted Certificate of Trademark Registration No. 585601 for the certification mark "Kim Son Ninh Binh Mangrove Honey".

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Hoang Trong Le, Secretary of the Party Committee of Kim Dong commune, affirmed that this is an important turning point marking the maturity of agricultural products associated with the unique characteristics of the coastal alluvial land of the locality. As the owner and managing organization of the "Kim Son Ninh Binh Mangrove Honey" brand, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune clearly define their responsibility to protect and develop the brand sustainably. They also require units using the certified "Kim Son Ninh Binh Mangrove Honey" brand to strictly adhere to the brand management and development process and promote brand value.

At the conference, representatives from the Department of Science and Technology and the Center for Technology Research and Intellectual Property (CIPTEK) presented the Trademark Registration Certificate and Industrial Design Patent for the product's label and packaging.

Representatives of the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune granted the right to use the trademark registration certificate and the Industrial Design Patent for the label and packaging of the product to three representative units producing and trading "Kim Son Ninh Binh Mangrove Honey": the 27/7 Beekeeping Cooperative ( Hamlet 5 Kim Trung, Kim Dong commune ); the Kim Son Mangrove Honey Production and Consumption Cooperative ; and the Kim Son Mangrove Honey Trading Joint Stock Company.
