General Secretary of the Communist Party of Argentina: The birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945 was a historic turning point.

According to Mr. Kreyness, in the context of the defeat of fascism and the rising movement for national independence, leader Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam wisely took advantage of the opportunity to seize power and establish the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia. "That was a great victory of the Vietnamese revolutionary forces under the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh. Since that time, the Vietnamese people have come a long way, bringing the country from war to unification, from poverty to development and moving towards building socialism," Mr. Kreyness affirmed.

Regarding international influence, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Argentina Kreyness said that the victory of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam had great significance in world history. The example of Vietnam strongly inspired national liberation movements in Asia, Africa and Latin America, contributed to the formation of the Non-Aligned Movement and strengthened anti-imperialist stances globally.

He also emphasized that the success of the August Revolution was thanks to the spirit of national unity, courage and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh. Mr. Kreyness said: "Ho Chi Minh built a national front for national independence, opening a clear revolutionary path for the whole nation to stand up and fight together."

Assessing the achievements after nearly 40 years of implementing the Doi Moi process, General Secretary Kreyness affirmed that Vietnam has achieved fundamental changes. He emphasized: "From a country that once lacked food, Vietnam has now become a food exporting country, developing production and still maintaining socialist orientation." He said that in the context of globalization and rapid changes in the world, Vietnam has known how to take advantage of opportunities to make a breakthrough. He emphasized: "Finding a path to sustainable development is a great success of the Communist Party of Vietnam."

Regarding the bilateral relations between Argentina and Vietnam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Argentina Kreyness emphasized that the relationship between the two countries is increasingly developing, especially two-way trade reaching billions of USD, demonstrating the dynamism and prospects for long-term cooperation between the two countries.
