According to the Organizing Committee, the exhibition showcasing the nation's achievements, "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness," is expected to officially conclude with a closing ceremony and a grand art concert titled "I Love My Homeland" on the evening of September 15th at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
Along with the solemn ceremony including concluding activities and awards, the closing night of the exhibition will feature a special art concert with the theme "I Love My Homeland". The program will feature numerous famous artists from many generations, including People's Artist Thanh Hoa, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan; singers Trong Tan, Thu Minh, Tung Duong, Ho Ngoc Ha, Hoang Thuy Linh, Bao Anh, violinist Anh Tu, Truc Nhan, Trong Hieu, Doublezt, PiaLinh, RHYDER… along with the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra, Buc Tuong Band, Trong Dong Group, TRE Dance Troupe…
The art program consists of 3 chapters, with approximately 20 elaborately staged performances, including many vibrant and impressive acts that are visually and aurally stunning, both visually and emotionally resonant, blending tradition and modernity, and powerful vocalists with a symphony orchestra...
Chapter 1, themed "My Homeland - A Thousand-Year-Old Source," features a series of works: "Praise the Homeland" by Ho Bac; the medley "Vietnam in My Heart Is - Sunflower" by Yen Le and Tran Tuan Hung; "Kind Vietnam" by DTAP; "I Am Vietnamese" by Nguyen Hai Phong; "Dare to Be Different" by Trong Hieu and Elsa Sollsvik; "The Road to Glory" by Tran Lap... evoking the indomitable tradition and spirit that have created the enduring strength of the nation.
Chapter 2, themed "My Homeland - Where Millions of Hearts Beat as One," honors the strength of national unity - the source of all victories and the foundation for the country to overcome difficulties. It is expected that singer Tung Duong will perform with the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and the TRE dance troupe the song "Pain Amidst Peace " - a composition by musician Nguyen Van Chung, as a profound tribute to those who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Chapter 3, themed "My Homeland - Aspiration for the Future," affirms the aspiration for development and the Vietnamese spirit of always moving forward, building a strong and happy nation. The works featured in this chapter include: "Shining Prosperous Vietnam" by Bui Truong Linh; "Made in Vietnam" by DTAP; and "Continuing the Story of Peace" by Nguyen Van Chung.
The closing ceremony is expected to conclude with a spectacular fireworks display, bringing to a close the largest exhibition ever held, with the full participation of 28 ministries and central agencies, 34 localities, 16 leading state-owned enterprises, and 94 outstanding private enterprises.
