To ensure traffic order and safety for the 2025 Autumn Fair, the Hanoi Police Department announces traffic diversions and temporary vehicle bans as follows:
A temporary ban is imposed on cargo vehicles carrying goods weighing 3,500 kg or more, and passenger vehicles with 29 seats or more (except for buses, garbage trucks, emergency response vehicles, vehicles with security badges, police and military vehicles, and other priority vehicles).
Simultaneously, restrictions apply to trucks carrying less than 3,500kg of goods, passenger buses with fewer than 29 seats, and private cars and motorcycles. The temporarily prohibited and restricted areas are Ly Son, Truong Sa, and Hoang Sa roads.
During that time, vehicles should detour, avoiding the area in the following direction:
- Vehicles from Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, etc., to Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, etc., use the Thanh Tri Bridge, Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway, National Highway 18, Vo Van Kiet Street, etc., and vice versa.
- Vehicles traveling from National Highway 3 to the Xuan Canh intersection and the Bac Thang Long - Vuc De intersection should follow the direction of Hoang Sa and Vo Van Kiet roads.
- From Noi Bai Airport, take Vo Nguyen Giap Street - National Highway 18 to Vo Van Kiet Street or the Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway.
Hanoi police are urging drivers to voluntarily and strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, and to follow the instructions and traffic flow management of the authorities.
