General Department of Logistics and Technical Services: Proactively guiding public opinion and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

On the afternoon of December 15th, the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services (HC-KT) held a conference to summarize the tasks of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and the work of disseminating and educating on the law within the General Department in 2025. Lieutenant General Do Van Thien, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services, Head of the Party Committee's Steering Committee 35, and Chairman of the Coordinating Council for Disseminating and Educating on the Law of the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services, chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were: Major General Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Deputy Political Commissar of the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services; Major General Nguyen Manh Hung, Head of the Political Department of the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services; and representatives from the commanding officers of agencies and units under the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services.

At the conference, in 2025, the Steering Committee 35 of the General Department's Party Committee directed agencies and units to strengthen propaganda activities to identify the conspiracies, tactics, and subversive activities of hostile forces, reactionary elements, and political opportunists... on the basis of raising awareness, vigilance, and determining appropriate and effective countermeasures.

In particular, prior to important and sensitive political events occurring domestically and internationally, timely information was provided to guide the ideological awareness and public opinion of cadres, staff, trainees, soldiers, and workers within the General Department, enabling them to proactively combat and refute information that exploits the events to undermine the Party, the State, and the Army; proactively and actively spreading and highlighting the image of the Ho Chi Minh Army, the image of the Logistics and Technical Corps in the new era, especially through activities ensuring logistics and technical support for the A50 and A80 missions; participating in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief for the earthquake in Myanmar and helping people overcome the consequences of storms and floods...

Regarding the work of disseminating and educating the public about the law, in 2025, the agencies and units within the General Department seriously implemented the plan as scheduled.

At the conference, delegates frankly exchanged and discussed the achievements, pointed out limitations and difficulties; shared effective models and methods in disseminating official and positive information and combating false and hostile viewpoints; and agreed on key solutions and tasks for 2026.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien acknowledged and commended the achievements of the agencies and units in fulfilling the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and in the work of disseminating and educating the public on the law in 2025.

Lieutenant General Do Van Thien presented awards to collectives and individuals who had achieved outstanding results in protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2025.

Regarding the tasks for 2026, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien requested that Party committees, commanders, and political agencies at all levels effectively promote the role of specialized forces; coordinate closely, and have a firm grasp of public opinion and the thoughts of cadres, Party members, and the masses.

Promote the dissemination of positive and official information; prevent, combat, and refute false views and distorted arguments of hostile forces. Strictly implement regulations on the management, provision, and use of applications, services, and information on the internet within the Ministry of National Defense ; build a professional, managed, disciplined, and safe system for all activities.

Closely coordinate the dissemination and education of laws with the evaluation of the results of maintaining order and discipline in agencies and units to enhance the spirit of the rule of law and ensure that the law is enforced strictly and effectively.
