Concluding his state visit to Vietnam, on September 12, US time, President Joe Biden posted a short video of 1 minute and 30 seconds on social network X (formerly Twitter).
In the video, the first lines of text accompanying the image emphasize that "this visit is a historic moment."
The video also features images of the welcoming ceremony for US President Joe Biden chaired by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; President Joe Biden meets with President Vo Van Thuong , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

President Joe Biden ended the video by speaking at a press conference with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the Party Central Committee Office on the afternoon of September 10.
In the video, Mr. Biden said, "Vietnam is an important country in the world, a leader in this important region. I look forward to continuing the next chapter in the story of our two countries."
In the introduction on X when posting the video, President Joe Biden emphasized: "After 50 years of developing relations between the two countries, from conflict to normalization, I am proud to have further strengthened the relationship with Vietnam - an important partner in the Indo-Pacific".
