Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, said that Pho Day is not only a culinary festival, but also carries many profound messages and meanings, promoting innovation and improving the quality of products and services. Pho Day contributes to elevating Vietnamese products, agricultural products and brands, including supporting the food processing industry towards modernization, expanding export opportunities and conquering the global market...

The Pho Day program enters its 9th year with the theme "Elevating Vietnamese Rice - Spreading Across Five Continents". Over two days (December 13th and 14th, 2025), Pho Day 2025 offers participants a variety of activities, from culinary experiences to entertainment programs, talk shows, mini-games with prizes/vouchers for pho, instant photo opportunities, and other interactive activities on stage.
The highlight of the festival is the opportunity for attendees to discover and enjoy the flavors of pho from nearly 30 brands from North to South Vietnam. Some pho restaurants announced they would be making the pho noodles, cooking the broth, and demonstrating the preparation process right on the spot, allowing diners not only to enjoy the taste but also to witness the elaborate pho-making process firsthand.
Immediately following the opening ceremony was the talk show "Pho: Then, Now, and Tomorrow," featuring speakers who are "real people with real stories," sharing their experiences and expertise.

The organizers announced that at 7 PM on the same day, there will be a talk show titled "Promoting Vietnamese Cuisine to the World," which will expand and generalize the overall story of Vietnamese cuisine "spreading across five continents."
Another highlight of the program is the exhibition area "The Story of Pho" and "The Journey of Pho Day 12/12," where visitors can learn more about the history, culture, and diversity of Pho, as well as the journey of the Pho Day 12/12 program over the past decade.

At a price of 40,000 VND per bowl, the 2025 Pho Day Festival is expected to serve more than 20,000 servings over two days. The organizers will donate at least 10% of the pho sales revenue to the "Pho of Love" program, cooking and serving pho to people in flood-affected areas of Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen).
