Summary of the photo and article contest about Ho Chi Minh City's Book Street

On December 13th, the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street Company Limited, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, held a ceremony to summarize the photo and article writing contest about the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street. The event aimed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street (January 9, 2016 - January 9, 2026).

Launched in September, the campaign has received active participation and enthusiastic support from a large number of readers, photographers, authors, tourists, etc. Each entry conveys a story, memory, and sincere feelings for Ho Chi Minh City Book Street.

According to Mr. Le Hoang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street Company, the photo and article writing contest "Ho Chi Minh City Book Street - A 10-Year Journey of Spreading Knowledge and Beautiful Cultural Values" has received a profound response from the community. In just two months, the Organizing Committee received more than 400 photo entries and nearly 50 articles, each a memory, a sincere perspective on the Book Street.

Certificates were awarded to the authors whose photos were selected for display at the Book Street.

“These images and stories demonstrate the enduring affection that readers, authors, artists, and visitors have shown for the Book Street over the past decade. The Book Street has achieved what it has today thanks to the companionship and trust of the community. This campaign is a beautiful and meaningful testament to that,” Mr. Le Hoang emphasized.

Mr. Le Hoang believes that the works honored today will become a beautiful part of the city's memory and provide further motivation for the Book Street to continue innovating, spreading knowledge and humanistic cultural values ​​to the community.

At the event, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates to 13 authors with outstanding articles about the Book Street and to 23 authors of the 50 photos selected for exhibition at the Book Street.
