Tay Ninh City: Complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025

In recent times, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Tay Ninh City has made efforts to build new houses and repair many houses for households in difficult circumstances. To date, the City has completed the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the City has focused on leading and directing localities to quickly deploy reviews to promptly repair and build new houses of gratitude and solidarity for households in difficult circumstances.

Provincial and city leaders and sponsors presented decisions to present solidarity houses and gifts to poor households at the public land of Binh Minh commune.

Through screening, the whole city has 62 houses of families with meritorious services and poor households that need to be rebuilt or repaired (22 houses to be repaired and 40 houses to be newly built). In particular, among the households that need to be rebuilt, there are 34 households without land. The Steering Committee has urgently implemented the project to build solidarity houses and gratitude houses on public land in Ward 1 and Binh Minh Commune.

The public lands selected by the Steering Committee to implement the project are located near schools, companies, factories, markets, have convenient transportation systems as well as land funds for households to raise livestock, grow crops, and develop the economy . The project was completed and handed over to households to live in at the end of April 2025.

The total cost of building and repairing 62 houses is more than 5.9 billion VND, drawn from the State budget, the Gratitude Fund, the Fund for the Poor of the province and city, and additional contributions from families receiving houses.
