Ho Chi Minh City calls for investment in 28 green projects

Projects in the fields of high technology, transportation, wastewater treatment, urban beautification... Some projects calling for investment in Thu Thiem New Urban Area.

According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, at the conference calling for investment for green growth development in Ho Chi Minh City scheduled to take place on January 24, Ho Chi Minh City has prepared a list of 28 projects calling for investment for green growth development.

Among them, there are a number of projects in the High-Tech Park, in the fields of research and high-tech production in the fields of electronics, microchips, semiconductors, high-tech supporting industrial production, and data center projects.

Some projects calling for investment in Thu Thiem, such as the 7.7ha financial, commercial and multi-functional residential center; the 15.8ha complex project of exhibition center, hotel and commercial services; the central square ( Ho Chi Minh square) and the riverside park in Thu Thiem New Urban Area.

The most in this list are projects in the transport sector, such as the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 13 (from Binh Trieu bridge to Vinh Binh canal bridge, bordering Binh Duong province) 5.9km long, cross-section 53-60m wide, total investment capital of 13,850 billion VND; upgrading National Highway 22 (section from An Duong intersection to Ring Road 3) 91km long, 60m wide, total estimated capital of 7,200 billion VND; project to build Thu Thiem 4 bridge, Can Gio bridge; investment in building Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway over 19,800 billion VND...

Among the projects calling for investment this time, there are 5 projects in the field of wastewater treatment and environmental improvement; some urban beautification projects such as Cho Ga and Cho Gao projects, rebuilding lot E of Apartment 518 Vo Van Kiet, Apartment 155-157 Bui Vien, Apartment 90-98 Nguyen Hue, Apartment 62 Tran Hung Dao (District 1).

As expected, this conference is an opportunity to meet and connect project management agencies with potential sponsors and capable domestic and foreign investors to implement projects. At the same time, it will propose and advise solutions for Ho Chi Minh City to achieve green growth goals.
