After 2 months of implementing the 2-level local government scale, the Department of Health has issued 25 guiding documents and established 4 working groups to support medical examination and treatment, pharmacy, finance, health insurance, food safety, and preventive medicine. At the same time, the Department has organized 4 training courses for 100% of commune and ward health stations. Functional departments, branches and Hanoi CDC have increased training, resolved difficulties, and helped the stations stabilize operations.

To date, 126 basic health stations have been improved, proactively adapted, and promoted their role as the “extended arm” of the capital’s health system in medical examination and treatment, preventive medicine, and health programs. However, some places still lack human resources, equipment, and degraded infrastructure, requiring investment from local authorities.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nguyen Dinh Hung, the capital's health sector always focuses on developing grassroots health care, ensuring that people receive fair and quality health care right at their locality. The Department will continue to provide maximum support to improve the operational efficiency of the stations.

According to the representative of Hanoi Department of Health, the leaders and staff of 126 medical stations have made great efforts in the past 2 months to overcome difficulties and successfully complete political and professional tasks. The Department requested the stations to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, disease prevention, proactively report difficulties, propose solutions, and advise the Party Committee and government to invest in development, contributing to protecting people's health.
