Donate to the Warm House

(CT) - On April 30, the Women's Union of Long Hung Ward, O Mon District, organized a ceremony to present a Warm House to the family of Ms. Le Thi Cam, a near-poor female member with difficult housing circumstances, residing in Phu Luong area.

The house has a construction area of ​​40m2, tiled floor, corrugated iron roof, worth 40 million VND; of which the Ward Women's Union mobilized its members and benefactors to support 20 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by Mrs. Cam's family. At the ceremony, representatives of the Ward Women's Union and women's associations presented the family with many meaningful gifts, congratulating the family on having a new house.

This is a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, carried out by the Women's Union of Long Hung Ward.

According to Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Doan, President of the Women's Union of O Mon district, since the beginning of the year, the Women's Union at all levels has mobilized to build 2 Charity Houses for poor female members and those in difficult housing circumstances, with a total value of about 100 million VND.
