Donating school equipment to Cat Hai High School, Cat Hai district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 28, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board coordinated with LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. to organize a program to donate school equipment to Cat Hai High School, Cat Hai district.

Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board; Do Thi Hoa, Deputy Director of the Departmentof Education and Training and Mr. Joo Ick Hwan, Administrative Director, LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd.

Cat Hai High School (Van Phong Commune, Cat Hai District) has inadequate facilities, and some construction items are deteriorating. Learning conditions and social work at the school are also difficult because the students' parents have switched from salt production and fishing to seasonal work at companies in Dinh Vu Industrial Park, and do not have appropriate professional qualifications and skills, so their income is not high...

Faced with that situation, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board in coordination with LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. donated 6 air conditioners, 26 tables, 61 chairs, 01 meeting table, 16 bookcases, 5 document cabinets to help improve working and learning conditions in 10 functional rooms and 12 classrooms of the school, involving 30 teachers and more than 400 students.

The sharing, material support and companionship of agencies, units and enterprises for the school contribute to encouraging teachers to continue to make efforts and devote themselves to the cause of educating people; creating trust among the people in the correct leadership of the Party in the process of economic development associated with the cause of education in the new situation.
