On the morning of November 5, at the Ao Ba Om National Scenic Relic Site (Nguyet Hoa Ward), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long organized sports competitions and folk games to celebrate the Ok Om Bok Festival 2025.

The competitions include: cross-country running (men and women), pole pushing (men and women), sack jumping (men and women), tug of war (mixed men and women) and solidarity steps (mixed men and women), attracting over 300 amateur athletes to participate and thousands of spectators to cheer.

Sports activities and folk games at the Ok Om Bok Festival not only contribute to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", but also are an opportunity to honor, preserve and promote the traditional cultural and sports values of the Khmer people. Thereby, creating a space for exchange and community connection, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of the people during the special festival days.
