(Baoquangngai.vn)- Within the framework of the first “Quang Ngai Countryside Colors” program in Ho Chi Minh City, a photo exhibition with the theme “Quang Ngai, a hundred memories and a thousand loves” will take place at Dong Ho Garden. The exhibition is organized by Quang Ngai Newspaper in coordination with the Organizing Committee (OC). At this point, the exhibition is ready to welcome Quang Ngai people and tourists in Ho Chi Minh City to visit and admire.
Present at Dong Ho Garden, 195 - 197 Cao Thang extended, Ward 12, District 10 (Ho Chi Minh City) on the afternoon of January 11, we were very impressed by the space of the program " Quang Ngai Countryside". The program has a grand scale, with many unique contents, promising to bring many interesting things to everyone.
Currently, along with the preparation for the main stage, food booths, and OCOP product display booths, the Organizing Committee has completed the final stages for the photo exhibition “Quang Ngai, a hundred memories and a thousand loves”. The works are displayed right at the main entrance to the stage, ready to welcome Quang Ngai people living, studying, working in Ho Chi Minh City and tourists to visit.

Ms. Duong Thi Kim Lien (31 years old), from Tinh Khe commune (Quang Ngai city), currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh city, shared that the works evoked in her deep nostalgia for her hometown, where she had many childhood memories, where her parents and relatives lived and always waited for her to return. The nostalgia was overwhelming.
“The authenticity and liveliness in each photo makes me feel precious, feel the affection and passion of the person who sent the photo to participate, as well as directly organizing the exhibition. There are many places in the photo, although I have never been to, I feel extremely proud of the changes in my hometown today, a blend of modernity and tradition, rusticity and simplicity,” Ms. Lien expressed.
According to Quang Ngai Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Phu Duc, the theme of this photo exhibition “Quang Ngai, a hundred memories, a thousand loves” has realistically portrayed the beauty of Quang Ngai countryside, both traditional and modern. Quang Ngai Newspaper has worked with the Photography Association of the Quang Ngai Provincial Literature and Arts Association to mobilize members and photography lovers in Quang Ngai to send photos to the exhibition and agree to auction them to support the charity fund. There are 44 works by 14 authors carefully selected for the exhibition, showing diverse perspectives on the homeland, imbued with the breath of life of the land and people of Quang Ngai.

For many days now, Writer Tran Nha Thuy, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the program "Quang Ngai Countryside Colors", the person in charge of the photo exhibition content, has been on duty regularly, coordinating smoothly with Quang Ngai Newspaper to plan carefully in each stage of organizing, arranging, and displaying photos.
Writer Tran Nha Thuy said that when the program was first launched, the Organizing Committee received hundreds of works. After many rounds of selection, the Organizing Committee selected 44 works by 14 famous photographers today, such as: Ngo Thanh Binh, Alex Cao, Nguyen Tan Cu, Nguyen Van Danh, Le Hong Khanh, Nguyen Dang Lam, Nguyen Duc Minh, Nguyen Tan Phat, Doan Vuong Quoc, Le Minh The, Minh Thu, Nguyen Thu, Bui Thanh Trung, Hoang Yen. Although each selected work may not be the best choice according to the individual feelings of each author, for the Organizing Committee, they are works with artistic marks, bringing many emotions to viewers, suitable for the theme of the program.

Nguyen Tan Cu, Head of the Photography Association, said that upon receiving the invitation from Quang Ngai Newspaper and the program's Organizing Committee, members of the Photography Association actively sent photos to participate. Through the works, the members hope to bring to Quang Ngai people far from home the most genuine emotions, from the characteristics of good customs and practices, lands rich in cultural identity, wild and charming natural scenery, to rustic cuisine with rich Quang Ngai flavors.
“Photographers also want to spread beautiful images of Quang Ngai land and people to friends everywhere. Everyone hopes that in the future, Quang Ngai tourism will develop more and more, welcoming many domestic and foreign friends to visit and learn. We are proud and moved that each work participating in the exhibition has contributed to sharing the difficulties of Quang Ngai people far from home, poor students, and students who have overcome difficulties to study well,” Mr. Cu expressed.
The program “Quang Ngai Countryside Colors” is organized by the Quang Ngai Association in Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Quang Ngai Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City, the Return to My Hometown Club, the Love Connection Club, the Quang Ngai Student Club in Ho Chi Minh City... The program officially takes place from 8:00 a.m. on January 12 to 8:00 p.m. on January 13. The photo exhibition will be displayed throughout the program. The organizers hope to welcome Quang Ngai people living, studying, working in Ho Chi Minh City and tourists to visit.
