Special exhibition "Thai Nguyen - Wartime memories"

NDO - On April 25, at the Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space in Thai Nguyen city, Thai Nguyen Provincial Museum opened the thematic exhibition "Thai Nguyen - Wartime Memories" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and major holidays in 2025 to promote the dissemination of the value and historical significance, and the stature of the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism.

At the same time, the Exhibition affirms that the correct and wise leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh is the decisive factor in creating the great victory and gaining independence for the nation.

With more than 150 images, documents, artifacts, and war relics, the exhibition is organized into 3 main themes: Thai Nguyen - Imprints of 9 years of long-term resistance; Thai Nguyen - Solid rear for the beloved South and Thai Nguyen today to introduce and vividly depict a resilient and heroic Thai Nguyen in the two long-term resistance wars and today's renovation.

Through this exhibition, the public will visualize the human and material contributions of the army and people of Thai Nguyen in the two resistance wars; the task of absolutely protecting the safety of the Viet Bac base center - the resistance capital of the whole country, where President Ho Chi Minh and the leaders of the Party, State, and the resistance headquarters lived and worked during the 9 years of resistance against French colonialism (1946-1954).

During the resistance war against the US to save the country (1954-1975), under the leadership of the Party, the army and people of Thai Nguyen province both worked and fought, fulfilling the role of a solid rear base, providing human and material resources for the southern front.

The exhibition displays and introduces to the public the outstanding activities and achievements of Thai Nguyen province during the period of innovation, integration and development, cultural works, historical relics, urban architectural works that have been reconstructed, preserved, restored, and built after the war, and the cultural heritages, beautiful natural landscapes and the life of Thai Nguyen that have been constantly improved.

The exhibition will be on display for the public and visitors until May 25.
