Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition on April 28, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Quang, Director of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, said that this is a special activity organized by the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
The Director of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center also affirmed: April 30, 1975 has become a brilliant milestone in the history of the Vietnamese nation. The historic decisions made from House and Bunker D67 led the resistance to miraculous victory, creating a historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, with the spirit of "lightning speed, boldness, surprise, sure victory".

The exhibition “The Road to Reunification” displays more than 200 valuable documents and images, vividly recreating the decisive sprint period from the Paris Agreement (1973) to the total victory in the spring of 1975. The exhibition is not only an opportunity for us to review the glorious golden pages of history, pay tribute to the heroes and martyrs who fell for peace and freedom, but also an endless source of inspiration, fostering love for the Fatherland, national pride, and giving strength to today's generation to firmly build and protect the country in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
House and Bunker D67 are important revolutionary relics in the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site. The relic is associated with the activities of the Politburo, the Central Military Commission, the Minister of National Defense, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army. Here, from September 1968 to April 30, 1975, the supreme command: the Politburo of the Vietnam Workers' Party (since 1976, the Communist Party of Vietnam), the Central Military Commission, and the General Command of the People's Army focused their intelligence, proposed correct and creative strategic policies, and led our people to the final victory of the resistance war against the US to save the country.

The exhibition “The Road to Reunification” was held at the Revolutionary House and Bunker D67 relic site, including 3 main themes: “Strategic decisions of the General Headquarters”; “One day equals 20 years” and “Advancing to Saigon”.
Along with the exhibition, on this occasion, the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center also implemented a plan to comprehensively renovate the House and Tunnel D67 relic, researched the restoration of the original color of the relic; initially implemented the project "Application of information technology to interpret the revolutionary relic House and Tunnel D67".
Based on the research results, information technology can be applied to introduce from general to detailed information about the D67 House and Tunnel; the role of the D67 House and Tunnel in the resistance war against the US to save the country; build new interpretation methods, meet the needs of learning and increase the experience of tourists, especially young people when visiting the Thang Long Imperial Citadel heritage site. During the implementation of the project, the story "D67 House and Tunnel, the journey to the day of total victory" will be interpreted using modern technology, contributing to preserving and honoring the value of the relic, bringing visitors authentic and attractive experiences.
