Mobile sketch exhibition "Memories of the battlefield in Zone V"

DNO - This morning (July 16), at the Monument of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers (Quang Phu ward), a mobile sketch exhibition with the theme "Memories of the battlefield in Zone V" officially opened.

This activity is part of the events commemorating the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025). The exhibition is organized by the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts in coordination with the Quang Nam Provincial Museum and Relic Management Board.

Within the framework of the exhibition, 78 sketches by martyr and artist Ha Xuan Phong, the late artist Nguyen Duc Hanh, and a number of artists who participated in the fighting in the Zone V battlefield were presented to the public.

The sketches contain memories and images of the fiery wartime on the battlefields of Zone V. Through each brushstroke, viewers can feel the heroic and indomitable fighting spirit, the hardships of each battle...

Besides showcasing works of art with historical and artistic value, the exhibition also provides an opportunity for viewers to access and learn more about the art of sketching.

The event was held simultaneously at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum (Hai Chau ward) from July 11th to August 10th, showcasing 60 original sketches by martyr and artist Ha Xuan Phong, the late artist Nguyen Duc Hanh, and several other artists who participated in the fighting in the Zone V battlefield.

The exhibition at the Monument to the Heroic Vietnamese Mother is expected to last until August 10th.
