The exhibition is organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography, and Exhibitions in coordination with related units, under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism . This is an activity to create a space to connect the past and the present, between artists and the public, thereby spreading humanistic values, solidarity, and aspirations for the country's development in the new period.

According to the organizers, the exhibition aims to honor historical and cultural values ​​through painting and sculpture. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to introduce works of art by painters and sculptors who have made many contributions to the development of advanced Vietnamese fine arts imbued with national identity.

“The exhibition has great influence, showing the role of artists, cultural and artistic works, especially paintings and sculptures in promoting patriotism and the spirit of national development,” said Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

What is in the Fine Arts Exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification?

The Art Council has selected 50 highly regarded works to display at the exhibition. Among them are painters and sculptors who participated in the revolution such as Ta Quang Bao, Colonel Nguyen Quang Tho, and excellent teacher Nguyen Nghia Duyen. According to the organizers, the selection aims to honor artistic values, encourage creativity and exploration in expression, and thereby reflect the diversity and liveliness of contemporary Vietnamese fine arts.

The works displayed at the exhibition cover many different topics, from war memories to the journey of unification. From there, the organizers hope to tell the story of 50 years of the country's revival and development through the language of art.

The exhibition will take place from April 23 to May 8, 2025 at 29 Hang Bai (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi ). Mr. Ma The Anh, Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography, and Exhibitions - Head of the Organizing Committee, expressed: "We expect the exhibition to bring to art lovers, especially those in the field of fine arts, excellent works after the country's reunification."
