As a coach, my responsibility is to guide and give the team a strategy to play on the field. I think that after a long time working, the players understand what I want. I also tell them that they must dare to take responsibility when playing on the field, because I cannot play for them. They must understand that the effectiveness of the game depends on their performance on the field.
- After the loss to Indonesia, you said there were still some optimistic signs. So what exactly are those optimistic signs?
I have a large number of players with diverse skills. With the increase in the number of substitutions in a match, it allows me to have more options to change personnel and tactics.
At the moment, the players are ready to enter the field. I have 15-16 players ready to compete for a place in the starting lineup of the Vietnam team. In addition, I have strategic reserve players to change the situation. The players need to maintain high intensity throughout the match, ensuring physical strength to press. I believe they can do it.
- What plans will the Vietnamese team have to counter Indonesia's throw-in situations, when previously we had conceded at least 3 goals to our opponents from such situations?
We have prepared for such situations. Before the last match, I also talked with the Japanese coaching staff, they also lost like that. I emphasized that the players should not waver or be too nervous because we have prepared for the opponent's throw-in situations.
Looking back at that losing situation, the whole team did not organize the defense well enough. In the Asian Cup, the Indonesian team also made more than 10 situations but we did not concede any goals. Only in the last match did there was a mistake, as well as a loss of concentration of some individuals and the team had to pay the price with a goal. If Arhan Pratama played, we would control the defense more tightly to avoid mistakes. In addition, we would adjust to avoid fouls on the opponent leading to goals.

That's an interesting question, but we can't tell our opponents how to attack.
