The Central Committee introduces personnel to elect Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

VTV.vn - The 13th Party Central Committee has carried out the process of introducing personnel to elect the positions of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

On the afternoon of November 5, the 13th Party Central Committee conducted personnel work. Accordingly, the Central Committee has implemented the process of introducing personnel for the positions of Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly to be elected according to regulations.

Previously, on November 4, the Politburo assigned Mr. Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate , was also appointed by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Party agencies to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Also this afternoon, the Central Committee agreed to let Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee, stop participating in the Central Inspection Committee and stop holding the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee to focus on new tasks assigned by the Politburo.

At the same time, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, was elected to join the Central Inspection Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee.

The Central Committee also introduced the personnel of the Presidium, Secretariat, and Qualification Examination Board of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
