Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission congratulates Vietnamese Teachers' Day

Expressing his emotions when visiting Hanoi National University of Education - one of the earliest educational institutions and holding the leading position in Vietnam, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized that over 70 years of construction, training and development, Hanoi National University of Education - the center for training high-quality human resources of the whole country, has trained people who continue to carry out the noble task of "growing people". The school's contributions over the past 70 years are very special and "immeasurable".

In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with the strong development of science and technology, digital transformation and innovation requiring new thinking and approaches, the Politburo has issued many important and pivotal resolutions, including Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development. Therefore, human resource training is of particular importance to meet the country's development requirements in the new era.

Acknowledging the three key tasks that the School is implementing, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department hopes that the staff and lecturers of Hanoi National University of Education will continue to maintain their political determination, not only training knowledge but also training people with love for their homeland and country, with mettle and courage to meet the requirements of developing and protecting the Fatherland. In particular, training in political ideology, life philosophy and ethics for generations of students is an important task of the School, aiming to create generations of teachers with a sense of responsibility, will and faith in the leadership of the Party.

"Hanoi National University of Education needs to continue to strengthen innovation to meet the country's development requirements, contributing to building a solid education foundation in the future," Head of the Department Trinh Van Quyet emphasized.

Giving an overview of the school's history of formation and development, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, Rector of Hanoi National University of Education, said that the school is currently focusing on three key tasks: promoting teacher training in English; opening new training majors such as data science and artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on the field of education; building and designing a smart school model suitable for Vietnam's conditions to transfer to the general education system.

In the coming time, Hanoi National University of Education will continue to promote innovation in training programs and methods, linking research - training - practice, developing a team of high-quality lecturers, contributing to building a modern, humanistic, internationally integrated education system.

* On the same afternoon, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and congratulated the Academy of Politics (Ministry of National Defense).

Recognizing the Academy's outstanding contributions in researching, supplementing and developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought in new conditions, contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Vietnam People's Army, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission stated that the army is implementing the Party's resolutions on building a disciplined, elite and modern force. The need to educate and train high-quality human resources in the entire force is extremely necessary. To build a modern army, we must first build modern people with political mettle, confidence in the Party's leadership, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, and knowledge to meet the requirements of military development.

The Academy needs to continue to adhere to Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, the Party's guidelines and viewpoints on building the army, strengthening national defense, and protecting the Fatherland in the new context. Along with that, improve the quality of education and training, strengthen postgraduate training, strive to increase the number of PhDs, professors, and associate professors; coordinate with schools inside and outside the army, actively study and research to meet the requirements of education and training in the new context.

Emphasizing that the Academy of Politics continues to thoroughly grasp and concretize the Party's resolutions, especially the resolutions on breakthroughs in national development in the new era, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission believes that with 74 years of tradition, the Academy will continue to join other academies and universities nationwide in contributing to the country's development and building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern army.

Receiving the direction of the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Doctor Dang Sy Loc, Director of the Academy of Politics, said that the Academy strives to become a leading center for training and fostering political cadres, researching military social sciences and humanities in the army and the country, with prestige in the region and the world. The collective of cadres, lecturers and students of the Academy will continue to promote the tradition of the Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces, maintain political courage, train expertise, contribute to training a team of cadres with qualities and abilities, meeting the task of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Vietnam People's Army.

* On the afternoon of November 17, visiting and congratulating the family of Professor, People's Teacher Tran Thu Ha, former Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, expressed gratitude for the important contributions of generations of artists and music teachers, including Professor, People's Teacher Tran Thu Ha and her family members to the cause of training and developing Vietnam's professional music; contributing to gradually bringing the country's music closer to and reaching the regional and world level.
