The school has strengths in training talents, providing highly qualified human resources, especially in key technical and technological fields such as semiconductor chip technology, microchips, etc. At the same time, the school also actively participates in promoting the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

One of the important directions is to implement projects such as the Project to develop a number of major universities in the Southeast region towards achieving the advanced level of the group of leading universities in Asia.

Expanding cooperation

Also in his speech at the workshop, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc said that Vietnam-Germany University received academic support from an association of nearly 40 German universities, which is an important foundation for the school to promote training cooperation.

The school needs to work closely with member universities in the association to design curricula that integrate advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, IoT, big data, new material technology, and green energy into programs and curricula.

In addition, Vietnam-Germany University needs to strengthen cooperation in scientific research and technology development with Germany as well as countries with high levels of development in science, technology and digital transformation.

Research programs, technology transfer, international publications and investment in laboratory expansion need to be promoted to effectively serve training and research in priority areas.
