Hanoi Medical University has just announced the dress code for all students during study, practice and participation in activities planned by Hanoi Medical University at locations inside and outside the school.

With traditional uniforms, Hanoi Medical University stipulates summer/winter/ sports uniforms for students depending on the season and activities, dark pants (for women, dark skirts with length above the knee are allowed), shoes or sandals with back straps, and student ID cards.

Students wear traditional uniforms at school-organized events or activities that gather school students to participate in at other agencies and organizations.

When participating in laboratory, practice, and community practice, students must wear a white blouse, student ID card, keep their fingernails short, and wear a mask when in contact with patients.

In addition to events and activities requiring uniforms, when participating in school activities and study, students need to wear neat, clean clothes to ensure seriousness.

Hanoi Medical University encourages ethnic minority students to wear their ethnic costumes on holidays, Tet, appropriate festivals and on days when the school does not require uniforms.

In addition, the school clearly stipulates that students coming to school to study, practice and participate in activities must not wear dirty, sloppy, see-through clothes, or clothes with offensive drawings or writings that are not suitable for theeducational environment, not in accordance with Vietnamese customs and traditions, and contrary to the provisions of law.

No pants, short skirts that expose the knees, low-rise pants/skirts, jeans with torn knees, thighs or hems; no low-cut shirts, tank tops, or shirts that are short above the waist;

Do not wear sandals without back straps; do not dye your hair in bright or colorful colors; do not wear clothing that is contrary to the specific regulations of each specific activity.

The school also imposes a disciplinary penalty of 1-3 training points for each violation of dress code that is reminded and reviewed.

Depending on the severity of the violation and the impact of the violation, students may be subject to disciplinary action ranging from reprimand to warning in front of the entire school.

According to Hanoi Medical University, the above regulation aims to raise students' sense of responsibility in protecting school security, arouse and develop student pride, promote the school's image, and contribute to building a healthy cultural environment in schools.

To strictly implement a civilized lifestyle in school, ensure compliance with school rules and regulations; build a standard style, sense of discipline, and professional demeanor of students during their time at school.
