The addition of new majors was built by FPTU based on market data analysis, global career forecasts and business consultation in the FPT ecosystem, to ensure that students learn the right competencies that the future market will require. From those analyses, FPTU restructured the program according to three key orientation groups of future jobs: Technology - AI - data, Business - modern services and Media - creativity - digital content. These groups connect to form a comprehensive skills ecosystem, helping students have a solid technology - data foundation, while developing creative thinking and the ability to work in a global environment.

FPTU's training model closely combines academics and practical experience through OJT (On the Job Training) semesters, projects "assigned" directly from businesses, a lab - studio - innovation hub system, international exchange programs and a multidisciplinary project community. All are implemented in an environment that still preserves Vietnamese cultural identity, helping students "live in their future careers" while practicing cross-cultural working skills - an important factor for integration and development on a global scale.
