Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School: 30 years of solidarity - creativity - quality

On December 29th, Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School (Thanh Hoa City) held a ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary and receive a commendation from the Minister of Education and Training .

Tran Mai Ninh Junior High School was formerly Thanh Hoa Town Gifted Secondary School. In its first academic year, the school had 686 students and 17 classes. A team of 41 teachers, selected from junior high schools in Thanh Hoa town, laid the first foundations for the school.

Mr. Duong Le Hoan, Principal of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School, gave a speech reviewing the 30-year journey of building, developing, and maturing of the school.

In the 1997-1998 school year, the Ministry of Education and Training abolished the specialized school and selective class system. Therefore, on March 14, 1998, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province issued Decision No. 382/QDTC/UBND renaming the school Tran Mai Ninh Junior High School and assigning it the task of developing it into a high-quality junior high school education center in Thanh Hoa City.

Over the past 30 years dedicated to the cause of nurturing future generations, overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges, the collective of staff, teachers, and students of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School have continuously strived to successfully complete all assigned tasks; contributing many achievements to the development of education and training in Thanh Hoa City in particular, and Thanh Hoa province in general.

Currently, the school's facilities have been significantly improved. The teaching staff consists of 76 highly qualified and dedicated professionals. The school's mission is to train and nurture high-quality students, providing a pool of talent for Lam Son Specialized High School and other leading specialized high schools nationwide, as well as other high schools in Thanh Hoa City. For many years, the school has been a leading institution in education and training in the province, meeting the expectations of leaders at all levels and earning the trust and affection of generations of students, parents, and society as a whole.

In recognition of its achievements in the field of education, Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School has been honored twice with the Third and Second Class Labor Orders from the President of Vietnam; along with numerous Certificates of Merit, Commendations, and Emulation Flags from various levels and sectors, from the central to local governments.

With the motto: "Unity - Creativity - Quality - Reaching Further," entering a new phase, Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School is determined to develop even more comprehensively, worthy of being a key high-quality education school in Thanh Hoa City; and a "leading light" of secondary education in Thanh Hoa province.

The anniversary celebration is an opportunity for generations of teachers and students to reflect on the school's development and growth, and to express gratitude for the contributions of previous generations. It is also a meaningful reunion between generations of students and teachers; a source of motivation for the school to continue overcoming difficulties, constantly improving the quality of teaching, and further enhancing its 30-year tradition.

On this occasion, Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School and its outstanding teachers received Certificates of Commendation from the Minister of Education and Training for the collective; honoring and awarding prizes to students and teachers who won high awards in competitions and activities celebrating the school's 30th anniversary.
