(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Luong The Vinh High School has just coordinated with Hai Phong School for the Blind to organize the "Spring of Love" program.

Attending the seminar were Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Pham Quoc Hieu; Chairman of the Education and Training Trade Union Tran Van Thang; leaders of Kien An district.

Leaders of the city's Education and Training sector presented gifts to the Hai Phong School for Blind Children.

The program took place in a warm and exciting atmosphere with the participation of nearly 500 teachers, students and representatives of parents of the two schools.

Delegates and students enjoyed performances by students from Hai Phong School for Blind Children and Luong The Vinh High School; participated in exchanges and shared meaningful stories about examples of perseverance and overcoming difficulties in life and study; and visited and experienced booths displaying and selling handmade products by students from Hai Phong School for Blind Children.

Speaking at the Seminar, Ms. Ho Thi Dinh, Principal of Luong The Vinh High School, emphasized that moral education and life skills education for students in schools today is a necessary task and plays an extremely important role in forming and developing the personality of students. Through the Seminar "Spring of Love", the School wants to promote the tradition of mutual love and support "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", educating students to love and share with the disadvantaged and less fortunate, through specific activities and actions at all times, places and in all circumstances.

Teachers of Luong The Vinh High School's Board of Directors presented gifts to Hai Phong School for Blind Children.

At the program, the Department of Education and Training and the Education and Training Trade Union presented Hai Phong School for the Blind with 3 million VND and 3 gifts to the school's teachers; Luong The Vinh High School presented 20 million VND to Hai Phong School for the Blind; Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company presented 10 gifts to disabled students in difficult circumstances.
