The National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) is the venue for the Exhibition of Socio -Economic Achievements commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd.

The purpose of the plan is to widely communicate the content, significance, results, and socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, thereby introducing and affirming the important, comprehensive, and historically significant achievements in the fields of economics, culture, society, national defense, security, foreign affairs, etc., of the country over the past 80 years, especially during the period of reform, integration, and development.

Contributing to raising awareness, national pride, patriotism, and a sense of responsibility among the entire Party, people, and army regarding the 80-year journey of building, protecting, and developing the country since President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).

The exhibition depicts the process of fulfilling the two strategic tasks of protecting and building the country over the past 80 years; it awakens pride in the glorious historical traditions of the nation to create motivation and inspire the people to prepare for a new era of strong, civilized, and prosperous development. It promotes the image of Vietnam and its people and affirms Vietnam's position in the region and the world.

Communication efforts before, during, and after the Exhibition must adhere to the political and ideological guidance and direction of Party committees at all levels, ensuring practicality, effectiveness, and widespread impact; the content and methods should be rich, diverse, and appropriate for each target group; and the advantages of the internet, social media, and mass media should be leveraged.

This study focuses on Ho Chi Minh Thought and the policies, guidelines, and viewpoints of the Party and State of Vietnam in building and defending the socialist Fatherland. It clarifies the theoretical and practical developments, as well as the important policies and strategies that have enabled Vietnam to achieve significant, comprehensive, and historically meaningful achievements in the fields of economics, culture, society, national defense, security, and foreign relations over the past 80 years, especially during the period of reform, integration, and development.

Information on the progress and efforts of ministries, departments, and localities in the process of designing, building content, and constructing the exhibition, with a spirit of enthusiastic competition and urgency to carry out activities at the Exhibition according to plan to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

The implementation of the communication campaign for the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, with the theme "80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness," is an important political task. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that the heads of relevant agencies and units seriously implement the plan, ensuring quality and effectiveness; and report the results of the communication campaign to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism after the event as prescribed. During the implementation of the Plan, if any difficulties or obstacles arise, the heads of agencies and units should promptly discuss them with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
