Commander of the 34th Corps holds the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army

Major General Nguyen Ba Luc, Commander of the 34th Corps, holds the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh today signed decisions on personnel transfers and appointments at the Ministry of National Defense .

Specifically, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Nguyen Ba Luc, Commander of the 34th Corps, Ministry of National Defense, to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

In addition, the Prime Minister also mobilizes and appoints personnel in military regions and military branches.

Major General Nguyen An Phong, Director of the Organization Department, General Department of Politics , was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Political Commissar of the Navy.

Major General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of the 12th Corps, was transferred and appointed to the position of Commander of Military Region 1.

Major General Vo Tien Nghi, Director of the Reconnaissance Department, Border Guard, was appointed to the position of Deputy Commander of the Border Guard.

Colonel Hoang Duy Chien, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, was appointed Deputy Commander of Military Region 4.

Colonel Pham Hung Hung, Commander of Lao Cai Provincial Military Command, Military Region 2, was appointed to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 2.

Mobilize and appoint Colonel Phan Dai Nghia, Commander of Nghe An Provincial Military Command, Military Region 4 to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 5.

Appoint Colonel Dang Van Long, Commander of the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province, Military Region 2, to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 2.

Appoint Colonel Nguyen Huy Tuan, Deputy Chief of Politics of the Air Defense - Air Force, to hold the position of Deputy Political Commissar of the Air Defense - Air Force.

Appoint Colonel Pham Minh Tuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy, to hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Navy.

The above decisions state the appointment term is 5 years and take effect from today.
