Special film week attracts over 20,000 viewers

Taking place from November 5-16 at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace, the special film week "Quang Ninh Mining Region - Imprints and Aspirations" attracted over 20,000 viewers after 23 screenings with 17 films.

The 1,000-seat "Red Rain" cinema hall is always packed with audiences.

The special film week is part of a series of key events celebrating the 89th anniversary of Mining Workers' Traditional Day, November 12 (1936-2025).

The films shown are revolutionary and historical films, honoring the image of soldiers, workers, patriotism and the desire to contribute, arousing the pride of the people of the Mining Region and love for the homeland... selected from the list of feature films selected for screening in the Film Week to welcome the 24th Vietnam Film Festival. Including: Peach, Pho and Piano; Those who write legends; Jasmine; Hanoi 12 days and nights; Prophet; Red rain; I see yellow flowers on green grass; Sparkling pavement; Hong Ha lady; Red dawn; The returnee; Quan Tien legend; Dong Loc crossroads; Living with history; Childhood moon; A Phu couple; Ring-necked bird.

Revolutionary films attract the attention of many students.

The films in the film week " Quang Ninh Mining Area - Imprints and Desires" received special attention from the people and tourists. In particular, the film "Red Rain" received the love of many people with the number of viewers exceeding expectations. During the 2 weekend days, Saturday and Sunday (November 8-9), the Organizing Committee screened 7 shows (1 show more than planned), to serve the needs of about 7,000 audiences.

With a 1,000-seat cinema, audiences can fully experience cinema works through a large LED screen system, modern and synchronized sound and lighting equipment. From there, creating a lively, attractive, safe and convenient viewing space for viewers. The Organizing Committee also provides free drinking water and a free parking area for people to watch movies conveniently and safely.

Up to this point, the special film week has been successful, not only receiving the love of the audience for revolutionary films, but also creating trust in the country's cinema, opening up opportunities for many other special film weeks. From there, bringing high-quality film works closer to the public, contributing to gradually realizing the goals of developing the cultural industry in Quang Ninh province.
