TPO - The 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union includes many meaningful projects and activities aimed at supporting people in remote, disadvantaged, border, and island areas within the province.

The launching ceremony, held in Khanh Binh commune, Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa province, attracted the participation of approximately 400 youth union members and young people in the area. At the ceremony, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union introduced five volunteer youth teams: Supporting Students During Exams, Green Summer, Red Phoenix Flower, Pink Holiday, and Green March, with the motto of widespread, safe, effective, and sustainable participation. |

The 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is being implemented across different youth groups, with one main program and four sub-campaigns running from April to the end of August. The Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union has assigned tasks to various emulation groups to carry out projects and activities in disadvantaged localities that are building new rural areas, with a total budget of 2.3 billion VND. |

At the ceremony, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union presented Khanh Binh commune, Khanh Vinh district, with a youth project worth 100 million VND to illuminate rural roads using green energy. |

The Vietnam Youth Union of Khanh Hoa province also donated 1000 units of nutritional supplements to the Vietnam Youth Union of Khanh Vinh district and the Young Doctors' Club of Khanh Vinh district to implement the "Young Doctors Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" program in the locality, worth 50 million VND. |

To support disadvantaged youth union members in developing their economy , the provincial-level Youth Union of government agencies and the provincial-level Young Intellectuals Team donated 100 fruit tree saplings to young people in Khanh Vinh district as a means of livelihood. |

On this occasion, the organizing committee awarded 20 scholarships to underprivileged students with excellent academic achievements from poor and near-poor households, and 20 gifts to disadvantaged young people who have overcome difficulties in Khanh Vinh district. |

Immediately after the ceremony, delegates inaugurated the youth project "Lighting up rural roads with green energy" in Ca Hon village, Khanh Binh commune, Khanh Vinh district. The project includes 40 solar-powered streetlights spread along a 1.5km stretch of road. |
