The Vietnamese men's team focused on the fourth game, but the brilliance of Swedish foreign player Jacob Link helped Al Muhharraq maintain their position. Coach Tran Dinh Tien's changes in the hope of creating a breakthrough for the Vietnamese team were ineffective due to many defensive errors. With a 7-point gap (12-19) between them, the Vietnamese players had an impressive scoring streak, narrowing the gap to just 1 point (20-21). That was all Coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team could muster because after a meeting, Al Muhharraq rose strongly, winning 25-22, thereby closing the final victory with a score of 3-1.

With this defeat, the door to the quarterfinals is narrowing for the Vietnamese men's volleyball team. At 10:30 tomorrow (May 13), the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will face Al Rayyan Club (Qatar) in the final match of Group D, AVC Champions League 2025.
