Commendation and rewards for 54 students participating in the traditional Olympic exam on April 30

On the morning of April 14, Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted held a ceremony to honor and reward 54 students who achieved excellent results in the 29th Traditional Olympic Competition on April 30 in 2025.

The 29th Traditional Olympic Exam on April 30th in 2025 took place on April 4-6 at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted ( Ho Chi Minh City) with 97 delegations of excellent students in grades 10 and 11 from specialized schools in southern provinces and cities, the Central - Central Highlands region with 3,274 candidates participating in the exam.

Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted has 54 students, participating in 9 subjects: Math, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Literature, History, Geography. The result is 50 medals, including: 18 gold medals, 21 silver medals and 11 bronze medals, ranked 11th out of 97 participating teams. Cao Hoang Lam, grade 11 Math 1, runner-up in Math 11 for the whole region and Tran Dai Hao, grade 11 Math 1, runner-up in IT 11 for the whole region.

According to Mr. Huynh Tan Chau, Principal of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted, to create motivation and a learning movement, the school rewards each student who wins a gold medal with 1 million VND, students who win a silver medal with 700,000 VND, students who win a bronze medal with 550,000 VND, and 4 students who participated in the exam but did not win a prize, the school awarded each student 300,000 VND.

In addition, the school also rewarded two teams with excellent achievements, the Chemistry team and the Math team, each team brought home 4 gold medals and 2 students were the runners-up in the whole South.
