Indonesian women's team calls up 3 naturalized players, determined to face Vietnam in the AFF Cup.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) has announced the list of 23 players for the national women's team who will participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship (AFF Cup) held in Vietnam in early August.

Notably, among the 23 Indonesian female players announced by PSSI to participate in the 2025 AFF Cup in Vietnam, there are three naturalized players: Isa Warps, Estella Loupattij, and Noa Leatomu.

Isa Warps is a Dutch midfielder, only 20 years old, with an impressive height of 1.78m, and currently plays for NAC Breda in the Netherlands.

Estella Loupattij is a notable figure who will be part of the Indonesian women's national team at the 2025 AFF Cup (Photo: PSSI).

Meanwhile, Estella Loupattij, also of Dutch origin, plays as a forward for Zulte Waregem but has a relatively modest height of 1.61m. The striker, born in 2003, has been playing for the Indonesian women's national team since October 2024, appearing in 6 matches but yet to score a goal.

The other naturalized player for the Indonesian women's national team is Noa Leatomu, also of Dutch origin and currently playing as a defender for VfR Warbeyen. Last November, along with Estella Loupatty, Leatomu acquired Indonesian citizenship, becoming one of the first naturalized female players for the Indonesian women's national team.

According to the PSSI's published list of the squad for the 2025 AFF Cup in Vietnam, the goalkeeper position will be filled by three players: Laita Roati, Thasza Amelia, and Indri Yulianti.

Subsequently, in the defensive position, coach Joko Susilo called up eight players: Agnes Hutapea, Vivi Oktavia, Siti Nuriyah, Remini, Rihla Nuer, Feni Binsbarek, Noa Leatomu, and Octavianti Nurmalita.

In midfield, the Indonesian women's team will be reinforced with Viny Silfianus, Shalika Aurelia, Amanda Florentinae, Widja Malebbi, Helsya Maeisyaroh, Rosdilah Siti, Aula Al Mabruroh, and Rosalia.

Subsequently, Indonesia's forward line was strengthened by Reva Octaviani, Marsela Awi, Isa Warps, and Estella Loupattij.

Indonesia is in Group A along with Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia. Meanwhile, Group B includes the Philippines, Myanmar, Australia U23, and Timor Leste.
